Did you know, Whitby has a GeoHub – or online map-based portal – where residents can explore, search, and download apps, maps, and location-based data about the Town?
From reporting a winter maintenance issue, to viewing bike-friendly cycling routes and trails in Whitby, to locating a splash pad to cool down at on a hot day – these maps and apps feature user-generated data to help keep residents informed. We refer to these tools as our geographic information system (GIS), spatial technology, and location intelligence tools.
The Town is working on a three-year GIS Strategic Plan to expand and improve our GeoHub website and help make Town data more accessible to everyone – and we want to hear from you!

This survey is asking for feedback from residents, businesses, and other stakeholders on matters relating to GIS services offered by the Town. Your feedback is very important. This short survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.
