Whitburn Street Speed Humps

In 2022, a series of eight speed humps were installed along Whitburn Street, between Rossland Road and Jack Miner Public School in response to community requests.

The design of the humps considered industry standards, driveway locations, and desires lines/destinations. Spacing of the speed humps was intentional to reduce travel speeds and limit drivers ability to speed up between the speed humps.

Since the install of these speed humps, some residents have requested the removal of some or all of the speed humps - and we want your thoughts.
