The Town is seeking feedback to help set its wayfinding and signage standard – to make it easier to navigate to and through Whitby. By developing this standard, the Town will make it easier for Whitby residents and visitors to navigate Town facilities and amenities and access programs and services within them. This includes signage to help find places like Town buildings, parks, recreation centres, and trails.

In March 2020 the Town engaged Fathom Studio to prepare the Accessible Signage and Wayfinding Study .

Fathom Studio reviews the current state of wayfinding and signage applications throughout the Town of Whitby. Stakeholder groups and staff will be consulted on wayfinding priorities.
