Thank you to the more than 180 people who visited this page and over 50 who directly contributed their feedback by survey from August 26 and September 17. Your feedback will help to inform the final recommended study to be presented to Council in the coming months.

Learn what wayfinding and signage mean.

The Town is seeking feedback to help set its wayfinding and signage standard – to make it easier to navigate to and through Whitby. By developing this standard, the Town will make it easier for Whitby residents and visitors to navigate Town facilities and amenities and access programs and services within them. This includes signage to help find places like Town buildings, parks, recreation centres, and trails.

Why It Matters

The Town is committed to providing an inclusive environment where all residents, visitors and employees have equal access to programs, services, facilities and amenities.

What’s Next

The Town will collect community feedback and use it to inform recommended standards for wayfinding and signage. The recommended standards will be brought forward to Council later this year.
