Just Brakes Plus - Act of Kindness

A resident that has difficulty with some tasks due to a brain injury shared this story of an act of kindness. At the beginning of the COVID lockdown, she needed air in an old bike tire and headed to Just Brakes Plus on Brock Street to see if she could use their pump to inflate the flat tire. The owner showed her how to use the pump and offered to do it for her. Unfortunately, as he proceeded, the old tire burst. He was so apologetic and insisted on replacing the tire; he ended up replacing both tires, cleaning and oiling the bike and making it look almost new. Thank you for demonstrating this act of kindness to a resident in our community.
