Alzheimer's Society Cares for the Community During COVID

The mission of the Alzheimer's Society of Durham Region is to improve the quality of life of people with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and their care partners. They have pivoted their service delivery to continue delivering on this mission through the pandemic by providing their vital supports on a virtual platform and provided activity boxes for the vulnerable sector. Having a family member with Alzheimer's, I know the importance of these programs and services.
