New neighbourhood park providing recreation opportunities, gathering spaces, pathways, landscaping and playground amenities for future residents.
Due to financial pressures during the preparation of the Town’s 2025–2027 Budget, construction of West Whitby Holdings Local Park has been deferred to 2028. If approved as part of the 2028 Capital Budget, construction is expected to begin in spring 2028, with completion anticipated by the end of December 2028.
The Town understands the importance of this park in providing valuable green space and recreational opportunities for the community. While construction is delayed, the Town remains committed to delivering the project.
